The Thomas Haywood Scottish Landscape Award

The Scottish Short Film Festival is growing!

Huge film production companies come to Scotland every year from overseas to make use of this country's natural beauty which we are very fortunate to have on our doorstep and often take for granted.

That's one of the reasons we've added a brand new award to our plethora of prizes - The Thomas Haywood Scottish Landscape Award! This is to give credit to those film-makers who are able to skilfully navigate the often unpredictable climate and harness the untamed Scottish countryside (from the land or the air) to be used as an element for their film.

Apart from a certificate and laser-engraved crystal award, the hand-picked winner of this prize will also receive a completely free half-day's drone shooting courtesy of Thomas Haywood Aerial Photography, worth £350! (Terms & conditions apply).

The late deadline is 30th April 2019, so there's still time to submit here:

Hosted by the excellent William Samson.

Rising Star Award kindly sponsored by Acting Coach Scotland.
